Isabella Cannady

Hello! I am an upcoming clinical mental health counselor seeking to empower individuals through clinical mental health counseling and a client-first approach to holistic well-being.

My Work

I have had many years of working with others, especially in customer service positions. I have always been considered the most friendly and understanding of my peers at each workplace. I will be acquiring direct experience in clinical mental health counseling during my upcoming practicum and internship periods. However, I recently partook in library work for Carolina Psychological Associates in Greensboro, NC. I also have been a client to clinical mental health counselors before, having my own struggles with ADHD and depression in the past. I understand the deep struggles individuals face and wish to provide them with the inclusive, personalized support and guidance they deserve.

My Philosophy

I believe in a client-first approach to mental health, where the client's experiences and growth are the focus of each session. To me, empathy and clinical expertise are the foundation of every interaction. I believe it is important to prioritize the needs of each individual I work with. Additionally, I believe it is important that clients are empowered through our work together, learning and developing skills that will serve them for years to come.
